Keep it loud. Keep it decent.

The short version

• You must be 18 or older.
• Skip is always one tap. No explanation needed.
• Do not share your real name, location, socials, or photos.
• If someone is abusive or illegal, leave and do not engage.

Before you talk

You are matched with a person we have not verified. There is no profile, no rating, and no guarantee they are who they claim to be. Treat every call like a conversation with a stranger in public.

• Use headphones if you do not want the room around you on the call.
• Check what is audible in the background before you unmute.
• Do not join from a place that reveals your address or workplace.

Skip and leave

Skip ends the current match and looks for someone new. Use it the moment the vibe is off — silence, creepy questions, pressure, or anything sexual you did not want.

Leave ends the session for you. The other person is rematched. Closing the tab also takes you out.

You never owe a stranger your time, your name, or a reason.

Protect your identity

• Do not say your full name, school, job, or neighborhood.
• Do not share phone numbers, emails, or social handles.
• Do not send photos, IDs, or payment details in chat.
• Do not click links a stranger pastes. Chat is not a trusted inbox.
• Remember that voice can still leak clues (accent, room noise, other people talking).

What not to do

Harassment, threats, sexual content involving minors, scams, and recording someone without consent (where the law requires it) are not allowed. Full rules are in the terms of use.

If a call becomes sexual and you are not comfortable, skip. If someone asks you to move the chat off-platform, that is often a scam or a way to evade skip — leave.

Chat and audio

Chat lives only in the current room. After skip, leave, or the reconnect window, it is gone. That does not mean it is secret while you are in the room — the other person can screenshot.

Voice is peer to peer when possible. We do not record calls on our API. Your match can still record on their device. Do not say anything you would not want saved.

If you feel unsafe

• Skip or leave immediately.
• Close the tab if you need the audio to stop now.
• Tell a trusted person if the call crossed into real-world threat.
• If you are in immediate danger, contact local emergency services.Connectoo is not an emergency line.

In-app report and ban tools are on the roadmap. Until those ship, skip and leave are the controls that work today.

Children

This product is not for anyone under 18. If you are a parent and believe a minor is using Connectoo, stop the session and contact us through connectoo.live.
